Villa Yildiz

There are a few small convenience stores stocking the essentials and once a week (Thursday) the market comes to the village. Here you can buy locally grown fruit, vegetables and more.

And if you fancy a morning stroll, we recommend you pay a visit to the baker’s house for fresh from the oven bread – just a few minutes stroll from the house and less than 20p a loaf.

There are a few good restaurants, serving traditional Turkish food in the village area, including Sominye in the centre. Here you can enjoy delicious home cooked food, at extremely reasonable prices.

Beach life

There are 2 beaches within a few kilometers of the house, the closest being just 1.5km away (you can see it from the house). Both are quiet and enjoy a gentle natural breeze so the heat doesn’t get too much.

There are places to eat and get a drink, so once you’re there you can easily just relax for the whole day. Or, rent a windsurfer or kayak and hit the waves.
